Great piece. Question: can you have Big P purpose that includes little p’s along the way? I had a job where I enjoyed many small parts even if I felt burned out with always needed to do more and more to prove myself.
I think Big P purpose is always bad because it is so goal focused and we often find ourselves doing things we don't like to do in order to achieve that goal. Instead, I think with can have little p purpose, activities that we enjoy the process of doing, with goals along side of them. The thing is, with little p purpose, we are more goal agnostic. If we don't get to the goal it doesn't ruin are enjoyment of the path.

Thank you for the reply. It seems that real purpose and goals aren’t a match. Goals are a very different thing.
