Hi Jordan, I’m also an MD. Can you talk about how you structure your hospice work to allow such flexibility in your schedule? Is it a 1099 or part time W2 position? Do you work the same days each week? Can you do this work remotely? Do you have coverage if you are traveling? Thanks.
I am 8 months in. Your thoughts are very close to my own. I particularly agree with your comments about productivity. I am loving having the temporal, mental, psychological space to see- to establish - who I am.
Thank you for the eight-year perspective. You've given me something of a look into the future. I just passed two years in retirement and although I'm very happy, I also feel there are opportunities to come that will make my days feel more "full".
And not full in the sense of being busy. I've got lots of stuff to do. But full in the sense of newly discovered passions and interests that I don't even know about yet.
I do have a thought exercise for you. If you could go back in time six years and speak directly to your two-years in retirement self, is there anything you'd say to him that would help him navigate the next six years?
